Artist Profile
Regina is a native of the Los Angeles area. Her foundation was
established in the architectural drafting industry. She always
loved to draw, but eventually she turned to painting and
discovered an entirely different realm of expression that nursed
her creativity. Regina works in oils because she feels that such a
forgiving medium helps her to be patient with her work.
As a draftsman she is used to planning every detail and
adhering to certain standards, but in her art it seems that each
piece has its own criteria. Regina feels that using oils keeps her
flexible and spontaneous, and that the end result is a culmination
of this relationship. For her, art not only imitates life but
explores and reveals distinctions of it from a multitude of
different perspectives.
