Artist Profile
Carolyn has a degree in art education and also a teaching
credential. She currently teaches art at Townsend Jr. High in
Chino Hills. Carolyn grew up encouraged by her father to pursue a
career in the arts. After learning how to juggle the varying
demands of work and family, she finds herself lately with more
time and an even greater urge to make more art.
Although she works mostly in watercolor, she has had no formal
training in the medium. She especially likes to explore the
contrast of the organic vs. the geometric. She feels her strengths
are her drawing skills and her sense of design and composition.
Carolyn creates art from a desire to capture and to share with
others what she finds beautiful and exciting in the world.
