Artist Statement

     Jason attends Citrus College where he is currently studying Fine Arts. After attending Beginning Painting with Dyane Duffy, he instantly fell in love. He enjoys working in many mediums but likes using acrylic on found wood the best. He gains inspiration from the unusual and macabre, to current events, as well as tapping in to his own past experiences. Painting helps him share the stories, characters, and scenes that inhabit his imagination. He draws inspiration from real life strange and unusual stories to his own past experiences. He is always thrilled to share his work and loves when the viewer can relate to the stories being told in his pieces.
