Eklektikos
has gone on the road!
Selected
works from the Shameless Self-Promoters' first group show, Eklektikos,
which concluded a two-month run at the Progress Space Gallery in Pomona,
California, was on display at the Meda Avenue Art Gallery of Glendora
(MAG) in Glendora, California.
Glenda
Reid, MAG's curator, was so impressed when she saw Eklektikos she asked if
the artists would like to show their works of art at MAG after Eklektikos'
exhibit in Pomona ended. The SSPs agreed, and selected works from the show
were on display at MAG, where they remained from August til the end of
November. The gallery, utilizes space in a two-story office
building, and is open during normal business hours of 10am to 5pm Monday
through Friday. The SSPs were docents at the gallery on weekends during the
14-week run.
