Artist Profile
Nancy has worked in various media all her life. She enjoys
oils, acrylics, and clay, especially porcelain, and creating
unique jewelry. Her primary influences are the Impressionists,
post-Impressionists, pre-Raphaelites, and the work of Mucha and
Lalique. Nancy has created numerous portraits, beaded pieces, and
sculptures on commission, but Eklektikos was her first gallery
show.
She would love to have the control of Vermeer, the patience of
Parrish, and the energy of Monet. Lacking these, she still pursues
her art with as much control, patience, and energy as she can.
Nancy’s fondest hope is that those who view her work will be
able to see, if only for a moment, the world that unfolds inside
her head when she creates art.
