Artist Profile
Susan
has been creating ceramic pieces for over ten years and she waits
with anticipation each time the kiln is firing, nervous and
excited about what lies inside. Susan's recent pieces have
explored the different forms and variations of indigenous art. She
has created multiple pieces that feature Mayan gods and she hopes
to create a modern version that inspires the same awe as the
originals.
Susan
is an engineer and masters student who creates art in her spare
time. She was inspired to make decorative tiles after attending a
workshop at Citrus
College.
