Artist Profile
Lucien works in many media. He approaches both drawing and
painting the same way, by layering. His influences include Seurat,
Vermeer, and Rockwell, but his greatest influence has always been
the creations of God all around us. Lucien feels that artists
should always be true to themselves when they create. He has won
many awards for his work, and has had pieces published in the
quarterly newsletter of the Wildlife Artists Association.
Lucien’s awards include first place in the Guests Gallery
2006 National Art Show, “Realism” category, and the Gold Award
from Kara Art, an international web gallery, for his own website.
His art can also be seen at Citrus College, Gallery SoHo in
Pomona, and in several on-line galleries.
