Artist Profile
Born in Los Angeles,
Carly was raised by her Belgian grandmother, who gave Carly her
first paintbrush. From that moment on she was in love with art,
and began painting and drawing every day. She was introduced to
ceramics at Azusa High, and also registered in a continuing ed
ceramics class at night. Even as a 14-year-old, Carly knew that
art had become a large part of her life.
Her ceramics teacher
kept her motivated by allowing her to advance as quickly and as
far as she could. Carly has studied with Roz Newson in Monrovia,
California, and is now enrolled in fine arts at Citrus College,
where she is pursuing her dream of becoming a successful artist. |
