WOW!

   SSP coordinator Lucien van Oosten has gathered together artists who are uprising talents and established veterans for the current show "WOW". The returning artists and the new members of the group have created a diverse and eclectic show, which guarantees that everyone will find a piece that enthralls and inspires them. The show will run during June & July 2008 with an artist reception scheduled for the second Saturday of each month. The show will be held at the Progress Space Gallery located at 300 S. Thomas St. in Pomona, Ca.

   The underground Progress Space Gallery has developed into great place where new innovative and original art can be seen from today's contemporary Southern California artists. A trip down to the heart of the Pomona Art Colony must include a stop at this hot spot which frequently features the Shameless Self Promoters (SSP) shows.  All SSP shows display various styles of art and media that always prove to be a very visually appealing experience.

    The City of Fontana invited four SSP artists to show an exhibit of their work, which featured the diversity of culture in the world. To celebrate the opening of the exhibit an artist's reception was held along with a family day which included a steel drum band, demonstrations by Susan Hoskinson & Tracy Pritchard, and refreshments provided by the Art Depot.
